Orogo
(Acquired by Just Eat) Online Food order and Delivery service – acting as an intermediary between take-out food outlets and customers.
Orogo (acquired by Just Eat) is a startup that provides a service for customers to order food from local restaurants via their mobile apps without the need to queue. Customers can search for restaurants, place an order, collect it when it’s ready and earn loyalty points along the way.
Orogo contacted Icreon with an incomplete application that could not process payments for orders placed via their mobile apps. Additionally, Icreon was also involved in integrating the web backend, used by restaurants with the printer hardware to print order receipts.
Using the app, customers can now search for local restaurants, choose items from a menu and order food while making payments on the app.
The restaurants have individual backend access where they are notified of the order, can print order receipts and inform the customer once the order is ready.
The customers receive alerts on the app once the order is ready for collection.
