Winkworth is a leading UK estate agency established in 1835 that has franchises all over the world. They approached Icreon because they needed a multi-lingual, multi-domain web application through which they could effectively manage and market their properties online.

Our solution

Icreon developed a user-friendly web-based solution for Winkworth with three interfaces: one for customers, one for agents and another for administrators. It had a multi-lingual, multi-domain content management system allowing different Winkworth offices to manage its data simultaneously from different locations. Using the new system:

• Customers can create an account and search for properties
• Agents can review property listings, upload virtual property tours, insert property adverts, and contact interested customers
• Administrators can manage information about users, agents and properties and post blog updates.

New features added for customers looking to buy or rent property include:

• An advanced search function using keywords, unique reference numbers or maps (integrated with an advanced Google Maps function)
• Virtual property tours that provide information on nearby stations, parking and other amenities
• Free property evaluations by Winkworth agents.

The new web application helped Winkworth to create and manage an extensive database of properties and expand their markets worldwide.
