Icreon has worked with the National Geographic Channel since 2002, helping it to target and expand its audiences in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. After initially working as a technical development partner, over the years our role has grown to encompass the full range of digital media services, including campaign management and strategic support.

Background
The National Geographic Channel is a global brand that was looking for a team who could develop an equally strong presence for it on the internet. It was also important for its new development partner to be able to respond to its ever-changing needs. Since winning our initial contract in 2002, we have continued to work with the National Geographic Channel ever since, winning another five-year contract in 2008 to develop a 360° web strategy for the channel.

Icreon is an end-to-end digital media and web service provider for the National Geographic Channel, including:
- Website development

- Web hosting and maintenance (including 24/7 website updates)
- Development and implementation of creative assets such as micro sites, banners, games, mailers, contests and online polls
- Online promotion of special programmes and events (such as Earth Day)
- Social media support to set up and manage Facebook and Twitter accounts

- Development of panels in Flash
- Video editing (eg .mpg to .swf through Flash)
- Periodical reporting

- Development of news feeds
- Newsletter distribution.
