New York Road Runners in the USA promotes running and fitness through its website, magazine, youth programmes and events. They employed Icreon’s consultancy and development teams to map out and subsequently meet their current and future technology needs.
Project requirements
Icreon was initially contracted only to conduct a technology audit for New York Road Runners, working alongside Double Space and Evolution Management on a detailed infrastructure assessment. After making our recommendations to the management team, however, which included the migration of their existing system onto a new enterprise application, we were subsequently retained to deliver the recommendations. We have since provided a wide range of technical and web development services for them.
Our solution
To bring our technology audit recommendations to life we created a set of interactive wireframes to show exactly how New York Road Runners’ IT infrastructure could be improved. They decided to go ahead with the upgrades and we subsequently replaced their entire legacy system with a new enterprise application that was much better suited to their business needs. We also designed new software architecture, produced a number of technical documents for their existing applications, provided web development support, and advised on a number of other ongoing technology initiatives.
