Maxill is a Canadian company that manufactures and supplies dental and medical products to consumers and professionals. They approached Icreon because they needed an online sales force management system that would synchronise with Sage Accpac software and data.

Project requirements
Maxill’s primary objective was to streamline all of their sales and customer-related activities. They wanted to move from their existing desktop system – by which all their product, order and customer information was managed through Sage Accpac – onto a new and more efficient web-based solution. They wanted the majority of their desktop application’s features to be replicated and to have new features added, including:
- Tracking sales by sales representative
- Creating reports on sales representative and management performance
- Integrating Google Maps to locate customers
- Enabling administrators to create accounts and users, and to manage their roles.
Our solution
Our solution was to create a central application with built-in CRM and mapping modules through which Maxill could track all the activities of all their sales representatives and sales managers. It pulled all the product and customer information into its database directly from Sage Accpac and synchronised this data across the two systems.
Each sales representative is now able to use the application to plan their sales for the year ahead, to track their commission and bonuses, to manage their customers, and to keep a note of all their interactions (such as emails and phone calls). Managers, meanwhile, use it to monitor their sales representatives and generate a variety of reports to monitor performance, which are available in Excel or PDF format.
